Posted December 17, 2020A New York City based health tech company is moving its headquarters to Birmingham following an investment from the Alabama Futures Fund.
HealNow, a two-year-old payments platform for online and traditional retail pharmacies, is currently based in New York City. It’s the second health company in as many days to announce a relocation to Birmingham. On Tuesday, digital health company Acclinate announced it is moving its corporate headquarters from Huntsville to Birmingham.
HealNow Founder/CEO Halston Prox will relocate to Birmingham in the first quarter of 2021.
HealNow’s platform is integrated into a pharmacy’s electronic records workflow, streamlining the prescription process and providing electronic payment processing, which the company says increases revenue for pharmacies.
