FUQUAY-VARINA – CCL Label Inc. will build a new manufacturing facility in Fuquay-Varina, creating up to 150 full-time jobs in the city.

The company has proposed the acquisition of a 32.28-acre business park that is currently owned by the City of Fuquay-Varina, according to Susan Weis, a spokeswoman for the City of Fuquay-Varina.

The new manufacturing plant, after construction and the purchase of personal property and equipment, is expected to generate $ 29 million in capital investment, according to Weis, with a total project of more than $ 33.8 million.

Construction could begin on the 110,000-square-foot facility as early as spring 2022, according to the statement.
