CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Nashville Business Journal is reporting that Amazon plans to build a 1,000-job distribution center in Clarksville.
Citing anonymous sources and project documents, NBJ says the 1.1 million-square-foot facility would be on a 100-acre property near the LG plant and Google data center.
Industrial Development Board Executive Director Frank Tate told Clarksville Now that he’s unable to confirm or comment on any possible negotiations with industrial prospects.
If a deal comes through, this would be the second major industrial announcement for Clarksville this year. In February, Microvast announced plans to build a 287-job electric battery manufacturing facility here.
